Care, education and research are combined in the ACTA building. ACTA is the partnership of the faculties of dentistry of the VU and UvA.

ACTA
This 25,000 square meter building combines care, education and research. ACTA is the collaboration between the Faculties of Dentistry of the VU Amsterdam and the University of Amsterdam. The Foundation for Special Dentistry and the Oral Hygiene Faculty of InHolland University also use the building. 300 patients are treated here on a daily basis, there are more than 900 students and more than 800 employees.
The ACTA building was designed by Benthem Crouwel Architects and won the third prize in the Amsterdam architecture competition of 2011.
