You and the Faculty of Humanities

The Faculty of Humanities provides a wide range of Bachelor’s and (research) Master’s degrees, as well as an interdisciplinary Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy, Politics & Economics (PPE).

All education in the Faculty of Humanities is personal: students work in small groups, allowing a lot of interaction with fellow students and teachers. Within the Bachelor's and Master's programmes there is plenty space for individual choice and development, and students have the opportunity to apply their knowledge in a societal context. Academic challenges, active teaching methods and high-quality supervision are important elements of an education in the faculty, with current world issues and the major scientific questions playing an important role.

So why would you join a study association? First and foremost, it’s the best choice to enrichen your time as a student. In an association you will combine activities regarding your discipline with conviviality. You’ll get to know your fellow students intensively, and be part of the community, while always being able to meet people at their social rooms. You can also participate in many events like parties, excursions, and guest lecturers. There are also many practical benefits to being a member, like discounts on all your study books.
