Career Services supports you in preparing for your career with workshops, individual coaching, CV reviews, and more.

Studying is about so much more than studying for your passion or getting ready for a specific job or industry field. It is about getting to know yourself, trying to figure out what you want and what you are good at.

SBE Career services is here to support you with all your career questions. How do I write a powerful CV or cover letter? What company culture do I fit in? What to expect in the application process? We offer support in different ways such as career workshops, individual coaching and meetups with companies. If you want to get started right away, we also offer online courses, a strong AI tools to check your CV and many more. Read below about our different services and how we can support you!


Online Career Courses 

Explore and enhance your career skills with the Gradup Career Community. Through Gradup, you will get 24/7 access to trustworthy information and easy-to-apply tips, enabling you to prepare for a next career step at your own pace and convenience. Crucial career management skills are covered in eight engaging modules, such as navigating the job market, mastering interviews, and crafting compelling CVs. Each module features compact videos and accessible online materials.

Coaching

During a coaching session you have the time to ask all your career questions. Would you like expert advice on your CV and cover letter? Do you want to practice an upcoming job interview? Or do you want to find out what career is right for you? We offer individual coaching sessions. Sign up here!


Workshops

How do you make the transition to the job market? Sign up for one of the career workshops and learn how to successfully transition from student to professional. Workshops are organized all year round. We offer workshops for different stages of the application process, such as 'Career Quest', 'Crack the Case' and 'Ace the interview'. Every two weeks you can join ‘Careers & Cookies’. These are very practical, interactive sessions about various career topics, such as CV and Motivation Letters. Also, we invite employers to join our workshops and share their expertise in 'Career Labs'. Previous sessions were, for example ‘Design thinking’,  ‘Coding sessions’ or ‘The power of persuasion and negotiation’. We also invite employers to host Case practices. Events

Throughout the year, Career Services organizes events that help you explore your next step after graduation. You get to meet alumni and employers in events such as 'Student Meets Alumni', 'Traineeship Weeks' or 'Career Day'. Other organizations promote their events on the Career Platform. Network with professionals and broaden your view during a Career Event. See the upcoming events here.

Internships

Do you want to build your profile and find out what you want in a career? An internship is an excellent way to develop yourself professionally and apply your academic knowledge and skills in practice. During the third year of your BSc programme or during your master programme, you usually have the possibility to do an internship. Read here more about doing an internship here and the internship manual. You can find all the information you need to know about doing an internship for or without credits. If you have any remaining questions, please contact your programme if you want to do an internship for credits or schedule an appointment with Career Services if you are interested in doing an internship without credits.

Via the SBE Career Platform can you register for workshops, coaching appointments and events. On the platform, you will also find career-related online tools and the vacancy board. When you log in for the first time, you will have to create an account. This is a one-time process, after which you can use the platform.
