The Entrepreneurship research group seeks to create actionable knowledge that helps entrepreneurs to develop greater resilience and make better decisions while navigating a world of uncertainties, thereby boosting their social impact and wealth creation for key stakeholders. We study diverse forms of entrepreneurship at different levels and across different contexts using interdisciplinary theories and methods. At the individual level, we examine the knowledge, competencies and practices that strengthen people’s abilities to sense and seize entrepreneurial opportunities, including the role of entrepreneurship education herein. At the organizational level, we investigate the leadership and strategies that allow startups, corporate ventures and social enterprises to scale their economic and societal impact. At the macro level, we research the ways in which entrepreneurial ecosystems and entrepreneurship support organizations (e.g., incubators, accelerators, funding agencies) can be organized in ways that promote high-growth, inclusive entrepreneurship.
