ALTERNATIVES TO PAYING WITH THE CHIPKNIP
Do you, as a visitor, wish to copy documents at VU? Then you can arrange this in the following ways:
Using the multifunctionals (printing and copying)
- You don’t possess a personal VU card but you do have a VUnetID? Then you can complete an online web form to apply for a personal VU card. After this you can create a Digital IT wallet and load/reload this via the web portal https://mynetpay.vu.nl
- You possess neither a personal VU card nor a VUnetID? Then as of the start of January you can create a Digital IT wallet (guest account) and load/reload this via the web portal https://mynetpay.vu.nl. You can link this account to any Mifare card such as the OV chip card, your UvA card or your VUmc card. You can link the account and the card at the printer. This account is only for copying purposes, not for any other functions.
All account balances on the current guest accounts for printing will be cancelled as of 31 December 2014. So you should use up your current guest account.It’s not possible to restitute the balance left on your guest account.

Multifunctionals
Visitors can use our multifunctionals to make copies or scan. You cannot print.
Please note: you cannot use every multifunctional.
There are black and white multifunctionals and colour multifunctionals. If you wish to make colour copies or scans, you should therefore go to a colour multifunctional. Find a multifunctional with a USB-port and a pay point.
Scanning is free; copying is not.
A4 black and white: 4 cents
A4 colour: 14 cents
A3 black and white: 6 cents
A3 colour: 20 cents.
Staples are included in the price.
