The research is organized around research subjects Breakthrough Technologies and Sustainable Innovation Chair:
Breakthrough technologies for sustainable innovation drive radical change, such as major performance improvements or new social behaviors. Organizations must develop or adapt to these technologies for long-term survival and resilience.
Our group studies the R&D and demonstration process of these technologies, leading to upscaling. Group lead Bart Bossink focuses on linking breakthrough tech R&D to markets and social developments, while co-lead Sandra Hasanefendic examines the management and policy aspects, integrating technology with social and organizational factors.
