VU Amsterdam’s Islamic prayer room is located in HG 1A-57, in the VU Main Building. The prayer room can be used by students and staff.
The prayer direction in the room is recognizable by the carpet facing the Qibla. A Koran is present in the room. Separate washing facilities for men and women are provided in the vestibule.
Rules of use have been established for the space.
