  In the second episode, we look at the central role that writing skills have in university programmes. Our guest is Christine Moser, associate professor of Organization Theory at the School of Business and Economics at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. We talk about what it is that students need to learn at university and whether written assignments are always the best way to test students’ skills and knowledge. But we also talk about the other skills that are trained through writing and why writing is worthwile in and of itself.

Writefull is an AI-based automatic text corrector. We talk about how Writefull can help students (and researchers!) to write their texts and in what ways it is different from ChatGPT. Hilde also speaks about the pilot that Writefull has done together with the VU. And what’s so special about the language of academic texts?
