Within the quantitative data analytics group, we conduct research in the area of machine learning.
Research in the quantitative data analytics group is focused on machine learning. Hereby, we conduct both fundamental machine learning research and application driven research, the latter primarily applied in the domain of health and wellbeing. In terms of machine learning innovations, we target to make machine learning algorithms more data efficient, better explainable, and working within certain safety constraints. We focus on both, supervised learning and reinforcement learning and mainly work on structured data.
