Each day many new chemicals are being introduced. Those chemicals are often not thoroughly tested with regard to possible effects on the environment and human health. Often, those chemicals are banned or limited in production and substitutes are required.
Unfortunately, also those substitutes often lack a sustainable character. E&H analyzes residues of chemicals in the indoor and outdoor environment to get a better understanding of their behavior and fate. E&H is also involved in projects that focus on testing of alternative substances such as flame retardants and perfluorinated compounds.
