Course description

This customized course is designed to address the specific knowledge gap for Designated Non-Financial Businesses and Professions (DNFBPs) and Competent Supervisory Authorities (CSAs) within the anti-money laundering (AML) compliance framework. Participants will engage with the evolving legal and regulatory environment, focusing on the vital role of DNFBPs in combating money laundering, as well as their ethical and professional responsibilities. Additionally, the program holds academic relevance, equipping both students and practitioners with the necessary expertise to ensure compliance and effectively navigate the constantly shifting AML landscape.

Learning objectives

By the end of this course, the participants will:

  • Remember: Identify the key roles and responsibilities of DNFBPs and CSAs within the AML compliance framework.
  • Understand: Explain the evolving legal and regulatory landscape surrounding anti-money laundering efforts, with a specific focus on DNFBPs.
  • Apply: Demonstrate the ability to apply AML regulations and ethical guidelines in real-world scenarios relevant to DNFBPs and CSAs.
