The Master Entrepreneurship, jointly offered by VU and UvA, stands out as the number one choice for those who want to delve into entrepreneurship.

The two renowned Dutch universities, have collaborated to offer a globally significant Master's program in Amsterdam, one of Europe's most dynamic business hubs. Students gain the skills and knowledge to evaluate and transform new business ideas, even in challenging and resource-constrained environments.   • Joint VU & UvA master Entrepreneurship

    The 1-year master Entrepreneurship takes a holistic approach, exploring various forms of entrepreneurship. Admission is not limited to individuals with business or economics degrees, but also extends to students from a wide range of academic disciplines. This inclusive approach enriches the learning environment and encourages cross-disciplinary collaboration and innovation.

  • Master Science Business and Innovation

    During the two-year Master’s programme in Science, Business and Innovation (SBI) at VU Amsterdam, students learn how to successfully introduce scientific knowledge and inventions into the market. This complex process requires the scientific and business worlds to cooperate to the fullest extent at each stage of development. The programme gives students the opportunity to specialise in one of two tracks, depending on their area of interest:

    • Energy & Sustainability (E&S)
    • Life & Health (L&H)

  • Master Management Policy Analysis and Entrepreneurship in the Health & Life Sciences

    This Master has a unique programme; students with a background in beta sciences conduct research on complex societal issues in the health and life sciences. The use of inter- and transdisciplinary approaches involving multiple societal stakeholders, allows for integration of gained knowledge into practice, e.g. through development of effective policy, implementation of innovative technologies, or realisation of inclusive health interventions.
