VU Amsterdam organises a Bachelor’s Day and separate Master's Day twice a year. This is an open day you can attend presentations and talk to representatives from all of our programmes. Most Bachelor's programmes also offer the opportunity to attend a Taster Day. Taster Days usually take place in November/December and February/March. Some programmes offer additional opportunities until June to spend a day on campus with a current student.

During a Taster Day, you will explore a programme with other prospective students and attend a lecture and a seminar. As a Student for a Day, you will follow along with a current student during his/her day on campus. A number of programmes offer both of these options. There are also programmes that are organizing their activities online. Participating in one of these activities will give you a more complete impression of the study programme and the students. This will help you determine whether the study programme matches your interests and abilities.
