The trans-institutional SKE track is for participants from HBO or university programmes in which we make use of the cross-fertilization of assessment visions and policies of different institutions as a starting point to strengthen our learning processes.
For whom?
Obtaining an SKE makes sense for professionals in higher education who are concerned with either quality care or quality assurance related to assessment. For the SKE we are looking for a mix of programme managers, coordinators, members of examination boards, assessment committees and assessment experts, with a BKE-certificate. For university-subscribers we are looking for people with extensive overarching assessment experience from university practice.
- As a lecturer or examiner, in hbo (universities of applied sciences), the BDB prepared you to work with the assessment cycle within a course. In the BKE component you deepened your assessment skills and learned to work at course level within the framework of the assessment vision, assessment policy and assessment programme of your study programme or institution.
- If you are a programme director you are responsible for the assessment program and the assessment organization as a whole and you must be able to think in terms of an assessment vision and assessment policy.
- As a coordinator of a study programme, a learning line, a study year or the graduation phase, you must also have a grip on overarching assessment, in which not infrequently a great diversity of (formative and summative) assessment types is deployed.
- As a member of the examination board you must be able to guarantee the quality of assessments based on vision, policy and program.
For all these roles SKE is suitable.
