It does not check the contents of incoming deliveries, as this is the responsibility of the recipient. If you wish to return an incorrect delivery to the supplier, please use the ‘Request return’ form.
FCO Logistics Centre hands the deliveries it receives over to Logistics for distribution. Delivery is made directly to the departments and a signature is required as proof of receipt.
The following deliveries are not handled by FCO Logistics Centre:
- furniture purchased on a project basis (this is installed by the supplier)
- large construction materials
- catering products (these are delivered directly to the caterer)
Small deliveries, such as flowers and flower arrangements, are handled by the buildings’ reception desks.
Where can I reach FCO Logistics Centre?
Suppliers and other motorised vehicles: you will reach FCO Logistics Centre via the campus square through the Logistic Street behind the building Transitorium. Access the campus square from Van der Boechorststraat and immediately turn left onto the Logistic Street. The coordinates are 5.2334089, 4.863024. The Logistic Street is only available for motorised vehicles and not for pedestrians.
Employees and students (pedestrians): the mailroom and FCO Logistics Centre are located in the building Transitorium, through the entrance on Van der Boechorststraat 3.

I have goods that I want to store temporarily. Is that possible?
It is possible to temporarily store goods in VU’s central storage, provided that sufficient space is available and that the goods are intended for VU Amsterdam. There is a storage fee. For more information, call +31 (0)20 598 7425 or send an email to goederenontvangst.fco@vu.nl.
