Students rated his course 'training and performance' as good, but teacher Matthijs Hofmijster noticed that they were not very involved with the material - it did not stick. According to him, this was because the exam as a form of assessment did not fit in with the purpose of the course: combining knowledge into usable answers for the sports world. He changed the course and no longer gives exams, but only assignments that the students discuss with each other.
A good example of ensuring better constructive alignment in the course.
