ODC - Law represents all employees working for the Faculty of Law, both the academic and the support staff.
Together with the Faculty Student Council (FSR) the ODC is part of the Joint meeting at faculty level (OGV).
The rights and powers of the ODC are derived from The Higher Education and Research Act (WHW), the Works Councils Act (WOR) and the Framework Employee Participation.
The ODC gives (both requested and unsolicited) advice on all matters which concern the Faculty, and must approve the Strategic Plan (multi-annual policy plan) and (parts of) the Teaching and Examination Regulations, for example.

- Faculty efforts to combat work stress and lower the work load
- Employment policy for academic staff without a research appointment
- Associate professor (UHD) policy
- Study resources (studievoorschotsmiddelen)
- Hiring freeze and the consequences for the work load
