Community Service Learning (CSL) is an innovative form of education that connects VU students with societal actors to collaborate on real-world challenges. CSL can be modified to most courses with a practice-related component. You, as a lecturer, do not have to reinvent the wheel; the VU CSL team provides full support.
During this Learning Lab we will explore how a Community Service Learning approach can applied to best accommodate for the learning objectives of your course. We will discuss the different formats and possibilities within CSL, and review your current course activities. The VU CSL team will assist you in matching these possibilities to needs and issues expressed by societal actors, such as local organisations, policy makers and citizens initiatives.
This workshop is limited to 12 participants. Please sign up no later than Wednesday 13th November.
