Share
26 November 2024
We are thrilled to announce that Sara van Mourik, a Master's student in Communication Science with a specialization in Marketing and Corporate Communication, has been awarded the prestigious Unilever Research Prize 2024.

Sara received this honor for her outstanding thesis titled “De Theory of Planned Behavior toegepast: Voorspellers van de intentie om Buy Now, Pay Later systemen te gebruiken onder Nederlandse consumenten”. Her research, which explores predictors of the intention to use Buy Now, Pay Later systems among Dutch consumers, presents significant and socially relevant findings, earning her a well-deserved place among the winners.

The Unilever Research Prize ceremony will take place on November 28th, 2024, at the Unilever Global Foods Innovation Centre in Wageningen. The event will feature two guest lectures: Professor Antal van den Bosch from Utrecht University, who will discuss the rise of generative AI, and Sarah Lieder, Head of Future Bio-ingredients at Unilever, who will explore the transformative potential of biotechnology and AI in food science.

We would like to congratulate Sara on this remarkable achievement and wish her continued success in her academic and professional endeavors. We also look forward to receiving more submissions from our faculty for next year’s Unilever Research Prize.
