Registration deadlines
Courses: until 4 weeks prior to the start of the course *
Exams: until 4 weeks prior to the start of the course **
Resit: until 1 week before the (re)examination. Provided that you are registered for the course

Period 1: until and including the 1st week of the course
Period 4: until three weeks before the course

Courses over multiple periods
You register for courses and examinations per period; each period has different registration dates. For courses that take place in combined periods (for example, courses in period 1 to 3), the registration deadline of the period in which the course starts (period 1) always applies.
Registration for courses
You can register for courses during the registration period for the period in which the course takes place.
Registration for period 1 of the next academic year starts in July. The deadline for signing up for courses is a few weeks before the start of education. An exception to this is period 1, in which case you can register up to and including the first education week.
You can register until 23.59 hours on the last registration day.
Registering for exams
When you register for a course, the check mark for the participation in the exam is also on. This means that you will be automatically signed up for the examination.
The deadline for registering for the exam is the same as the deadline for the course. The deadline is a few weeks before the start of the course.
Note! You cannot register for the exam outside the registration period if you have not registered for a course (part) during the registration period.
Signing up for resit/re-examination
When you have received a fail (or NVD) for the exam, you will automatically be registered for the resit.
If you did not take part in the examination (No Show) or if you passed the examination, you have to sign up for the resit if you want to take part in it. You can register for the resit as soon as the results of the examination (first opportunity) are published or the day after the examination date. You can sign up for resit up to 1 week before the resit date. Example: for an exam on Thursday 26 October you can sign up until Wednesday 18 October, 23.59 hours.
When registering for a resit, the last result obtained applies, even if it is lower than the previously obtained result. If you register for a resit but do not participate, a No Show will be registered but the previously obtained result will remain valid.
