There is a bachelor project in the third year of the bachelor's programme. In this project, you can opt for theoretical deepening and an introduction to research. The bachelor's thesis is the conclusion of the bachelor's programme and is a test of competence. It shows that you can apply the knowledge and skills in the field of experimentation, use of theoretical models, data analysis, oral and written presentation, which were discussed in the bachelor's phase, in a project of any size. The bachelor project can also help you find out which field of work you find interesting.
You can then deepen your research in your master's programme.

Onstage
OnStage is the system at the VU to support a graduation project, such as a thesis or internship. OnStage helps the student, supervisors and other involved parties to guide the progress of the student.
OnStage gives an overview of the entire process of the graduation project: when and where a part or concept must be submitted, who is responsible for the next step, according to which criteria the assessment is made and what your final grade is.
From 2023 on, OnStage will be gradually introduced at the faculties. If your educational program is going to work with OnStage for your graduation project, you will be informed.
