Rialto VU
Rialto VU is a brand new movie theatre featuring 4 modern screening rooms next to the main VU building. Of course this theatre shows its regular selection of film premieres and classics. But it is also the place to enjoy special programmes that often come about in collaboration with VU. Such as Fiction & Science, in which the favorite film choice of a lecturer or researcher is presented.

VU Griffioen
You probably remember VU Griffioen from your student days. After 50 years on Uilenstede, this cultural center opened its doors on VU campus by the end of 2021.
Visit the theatre and enjoy its sparkling stage with cabaret, drama, music and dance. Be surprised by big names and new talents. Feel like letting your own creativity flow? Choose from a diverse range of courses in dance, music, drama, writing, photography, painting and much more.

Bar Boele
In the mood for drinks after a movie or theatre performance? Make your way to Bar Boele, the 'living room' of the campus. This cultural café is located in the same building as Rialto and VU Griffioen.
