The VU Art Collection is an organically grown collection of approximately 1,200 works in a variety of media, created through donations, purchases and commissions (1% regulation). The collection provides a good impression of social and artistic developments since the 1960s. Artists represented with several works in the collection are: Carel Visser, Isabelle Wenzel and Niek Hendrix.
VU Amsterdam is a member of the Netherlands Association of Corporate Art Collections.
