Ethics, Governance and Society

Ethics, Governance and Society

The Department of Ethics, Governance, and Society (EGS) is a multidisciplinary hub of scholars focusing on behavioral, ethical, and political decision-making in organizations, institutions, markets, and society.

Our multidisciplinarity is unique within SBE. The EGS scholars cover a wide expertise, from behavioral economics to health economics, political and social sciences, ethics and logic, and governance. What drives our work is the increasing need for expertise that spans across different disciplines in the face of many great societal challenges. We strongly believe that innovative synergies and solutions emerge at the intersection of disciplines. We thus try to implement this vision in our research and the educational programs we are involved in.
