Services

The Services department provides day-to-day services on campus, in support of teaching and research. It operates in accordance with the front and back office principle.

This means that you only need a single one-stop shop (the front office) for all of your internal order requests or queries. This one-stop shop passes the internal order request or query on to the operational components (the back office).

FCO Service desk

You can contact the FCO Service desk for general questions, comments and reporting malfunctions on campus.

E-mail: servicedesk.fco@vu.nl
Phone: 020 59 85777
Availability: Monday to Friday from 08.30 – 17.00 hrs

Coordination Space Planning (CRP)

CRP takes care of the reservation of rooms for both education and other education-related activities. FCO Service Desk, the Events Department and the Pedel take care of events, corporate events, academic ceremonies and reservations for meeting rooms.

Contract management

Contract management is the process of systematically and efficiently controlling and analyzing contracts with the aim of achieving contract objectives such as maximizing supplier operational and financial performance and reducing risk. The responsibility for setting up and executing contract management, including contract management, lies with the relevant department or faculty that concludes a contract.

The contract management team of FCO has, among other things, the major service contracts for cleaning, catering and vending and security, in addition to a large number of smaller and smaller contracts for various service themes.

Portfolio management

The Portfolio management team is involved in the development and improvement of services within FCO. They create service concepts, draw up visions, manage the Product and Service Catalogue (PDC) and participate in FCO's project organization with regard to the service component.
