Our teaching

The staff of the department of Transnational Legal Studies engage in teaching in the fields of public international law, EU law, and the law concerning the internet and technology.

Bachelors

Members of the department are responsible for courses in the Bachelor Rechtsgeleerdheid (LLB, Dutch) and the Bachelor in Law and Society (LLB, English). The department also participates in a minor in Law and Global Society (with the department of migration law), and one in Law, Technology and Ethics (with the department of legal theory) and one in Recht van de Toekomst (in Dutch).

Masters

The department is responsible for five different masters degrees and masters specialisations, attracting 200+ students each year:
