After graduation you are an alumnus of Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. And together with over 150,000 other former students, part of a diverse and global alumni network. Throughout your life, you will keep a special place within our VU community.

There are many ways to stay involved with 'your' university as an alumnus. For example, feel most welcome to attend alumni meetings and other interesting events at VU. You may also call upon us for individual career advice and a wide range of courses and training programmes to keep on learning.

Library services: UB for alumni

After graduation, you are welcome to keep using the University Library (UB) facilities. Also, as an alumnus you only pay half the regular membership rate.

Film, theatre and sports at VU Amsterdam

After your graduation we also invite you to keep visiting our campus for culture, relaxation or exercise. Want to catch a film, enjoy a theatre performance or play sports? Feel welcome anytime.
