After completing the Master’s programme in Biomedical Sciences, you will have understanding of the integration of different biomedical disciplines and the societal interface to address biomedical issues. You will also have in-depth knowledge, skills and competences in a specific biomedical discipline and broadening knowledge, skills and competences to another biomedical discipline or research on the interface of science and society.

Start a PhD research project
With a master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences, you will have the relevant knowledge and skills to pursue a career in biomedical (laboratory) research. Therefore you can decide to continue expanding your knowledge and apply for a Ph.D. position.
You could become – among other things – an Immunology Ph.D. candidate, a Clinical Research Associate or an Analytical Project Manager.

The societal specialisations will make you well prepared for a scientific position outside the standard domain of laboratory research, such as a career as a consultant, policy maker, manager, communications officer, scientific researcher or Biology teacher, and more.
