Making a difference in the world of Climate Finance

Whether international corporations, government bodies or NGOs, everyone is aware today that understanding climate in the context of economic and business activities is of upmost importance. The Climate Finance programme is designed to train upcoming finance professionals in tackling environmental, social, and governance concerns within corporate finance and investments.

Society and companies understand that there needs to be change in how business is conducted in general and that it needs experts who understand both topics of climate and finance to do so. Experts of that field require on one side knowledge of what are the important components of modelling climate change and climate risk, and on the other side they need to know how to integrate such new factors into the financing of companies. These types of experts are hard to find and the demand for them is steadily rising. Keep in mind, though, that with your training you can also still apply for more traditional jobs in finance, if that suits you better.

The Climate Finance programme offers diverse career opportunities, including among others green investment analysis, climate policy advising, or sustainable finance consulting. Our study program combines the knowledge of climate & finance, so that you manage the finances of economic entities and the same time you can take into account the interrelations with climate aspects. And as such you can be a positive driver for a sustainable future.
