Information Sciences (pre-master's programme)

Building a strong foundation for digitalisation, digital transformation and sustainability

You will build a strong academic background in software engineering and data management in five courses of 6 ECTS each. This will provide you the foundation for our Master Information Sciences.

The pre-master's programme lasts in principle one year. It is however, customized, case by case, depending on your specific studies and track record.

Below is a list of possible courses that are selected when customizing the pre-master packages:

  • Requirements Engineering (Pre-master) (XP_0001) 
  • Web Technology (X_400488) 
  • Software Design (XB_40007) 
  • Databases  (X_401008)  
  • Statistical Methods (X_401020)

Please note: for your (composed) course content, please refer to the admission mail you received earlier.

In addition, before entering the Master's program, you will have to learn, as a self-study, UML (Unified Modelling Language) and gain general concepts of software engineering (including software lifecycle) and programming languages like Python.
