Look critically at culture and its role in the world

The minor in Anthropology is a comprehensive introduction to the discipline of social and cultural anthropology.

Anthropology studies the relationship between global developments and local processes. Students will learn that religion, ethnicity, identity, gender and sexuality are deeply interwoven with economics, politics, and other power relations.

In this minor students examine diverse social and cultural phenomena and learn to understand perspectives and experiences that are different from their own. Students will study core themes of anthropology and use them to engage with current issues such as globalization, migration and urbanization.

Change your world, take the minor Anthropology
