Understanding Brain Function in Health and Disease

Which factors contribute to brain disease? How does the brain adapt to a changing environment? And how do brain cells control behavior?

Neuroscience has become a truly integrative discipline, from single molecules to the systems level and beyond, encompassing normal human brain function as well as the biological mechanisms underlying brain diseases. The Minor Neuroscience offers students a comprehensive understanding of the principles and mechanisms of modern neuroscience research, encompassing the study of normal human brain function as well as the biological mechanisms underlying brain diseases.

This minor program consists of 5 complementary courses designed to provide students with in-depth knowledge of the latest developments in different aspects of Neuroscience research.

The Minor Neurosciences is tailored to highly motivated students that plan to pursue a career in Neuroscience. This track is recommended for students who plan to enroll in the Master Neuroscience
