Language and Preparatory Program
The Language and Preparatory Program is for status holders who will integrate in the Netherlands from January 1, 2022.
Did you become obliged to integrate before January 1, 2022? Then you can decide where you want to follow an integration program.
Do you want to study or work in the Netherlands?
And is your educational level equivalent to the Dutch HAVO? Then you can follow an intensive daytime course Dutch for NT2 State Exam. You will have classes 3-4 times a week and about 15 hours of homework a week. The starting point is that within three months after you complete the course you will take the NT2 State Exam, programme II (SE NT2, level B2). If you are going to do a beginner's course, knowledge of English at A2 level is a prerequisite.
DUO: loan from the Dutch government
If you became obliged to integrate before January 1, 2022, you can apply for a loan from DUO for the Dutch language course. You first apply for a loan. Then you can contact VU-NT2 by mail: vu-nt2@vu.nl.
Quality mark Blik op Werk
VU-NT2 has been accredited by Keurmerk Blik op Werk. DUO sets this quality mark as a requirement for loans to students. If DUO gives you a loan, you can follow a language course at VU-NT2.
Did you become obliged to integrate after January 1, 2022?
