In this process it is not only important to realize strategic objectives but also to realize this in ways that align with the values of the organisation. In this module you learn how to consider and manage risks in the context of an enterprise-wide risk management approach to achieve strategic and operational goals with a special focus is on compliance and integrity risks.
Using a blended format of online lectures, assignments and interactive classroom sessions, this module covers the fundamentals of enterprise-wide risk management processes and practices (based on COSO’s Enterprise Risk Management Integrated Framework). This holistic approach is linked to good corporate governance, organisational structure, assessing risks and implementing risk responses, including controls on the basis of management frameworks and in relation to effective monitoring, reporting, internal and external accountability and auditing.
