Teaching professionals differs from teaching (initial) students. For instance, professionals often bring a wealth of practical experience and knowledge, are more critical, used to working independently, and have specific expectations, such as applicability of learning materials in their daily practice.
The ‘Advanced course in teaching professionals’ course provides you with the insights and tools to effectively tailor your teaching to the unique needs of professionals. You will learn how to use experiential teaching methods that match their practical experience and how to create a learning environment that is both challenging and supportive. You will also get tools to deal with group dynamics, and the specific challenges involved in teaching a critical and experienced target group. This deepening in didactics will help you make your teaching even more effective and impactful, even if you already have a UTQ.
