Offboarding - resignation request by manager

There are several reasons when an employee's employment contract needs to be terminated. For the following reasons, the manager is responsible for initiating the resignation.
  • Termination of temporary employment contract by operation of law (employers initiative)
  • Termination of employment contract due to reaching state pension age (AOW)
  • Termination of employment contract in probationary period
  • Termination of employment contract by mutual agreement
  • Termination of employment contract pursuant to the WIA Act
  • Termination of employment contract following permission by UWV
  • Termination of employment contract on dissolution by cantonal court
  • Termination of employment contract in the event of death
  • Termination of employment contract for corporate economic reason
  • Termination of work placement contract (trainee) followed by an internal employment contract 
  • Immediate dismissal

Note: arrange your termination more than 4 weeks before the termination date, to ensure a timely processing.

If the employee terminates the employment at own request, this will be arranged by the employee via the self-service option Offboarding - resignation request by employee.
