Teaching is both an art and a science, a delicate balance of creativity, structure, and human connection. In an inspiring panel discussion “Bright stars in education: the magic of teaching”, award-winning educators and scholars will share their insights on what makes teaching effective and meaningful – offering insights for the next generation of educators. Together, speakers will reflect on their own teaching journeys, the obstacles they’ve faced, and the lessons that have shaped their approach.
They will explore questions such as:
- What makes a teacher truly effective and inspiring?
- How can educators create meaningful, student-centred learning experiences?
- How can universities better support and recognize quality teaching?
- What role do innovation, diversity, and adaptability play in effective teaching?
With a mix of personal stories, practical advice, and research-based insights, the panel will provide valuable takeaways for both new and experienced educators.
