Internships Faculty FRT

Last updated on 10 October 2024
During your FRT programme, you gain work experience or intensive research experience during an internship or graduation project.

The Faculty of Religion and Theology offers several master's programs that include a course called “internship”, which provides students with the opportunity to acquire practical work experience and apply the knowledge and skills they have gained during their studies.

For the one-year master's programs, this internship takes place in blocks 3 and 4 (full-time), typically from February to April, or from block 3 to 6 (part-time), and involves gaining work experience or conducting intensive research.

In the three-year ministerial training program, the number of internships varies by the seminary, with some offering one or two internships as a congregational minister.

For specific questions related to internships, student can contact the internship coordinator Eveline van Staalduine – Sulman at careerservice.frt@vu.nl.

Students enrolled in the Spiritual Care program can direct their inquiries to their designated internship coordinator, Gertie Blaauwendraad g.blaauwendraad@vu.nl

If you are a Bachelor bachelor student and what to implement an internship in your program. Please contact your Academic Advisor about the possibilities.
