If you do not meet the admission requirements of the master Communication and Information Studies but are interested in these questions, then the pre-Master's programme in Communication and Information Studies at VU Amsterdam might be something for you.

Rules for admission into the pre-Master's programme
If you want to participate in the Master’s programme in Communication and Information Studies and you do not yet meet the admission requirements, then you may first have to participate in a Pre-Master’s programme in Communication and Information Studies.
The Admission Committee decides whether you are eligible for such a Pre-Master’s programme and what your programme will look like exactly. These are the factors that the Committee takes into consideration:
- Is the focus of the student’s prior education BA programme closely connected to CIS?
- Is it possible for the student to meet the requirements for the MA programme by taking courses within one year? Most pre-Master’s programmes consist of approximately 30 EC.
