Building a future-proof curriculum together

Are you working on curriculum innovation or (re)design? Do you like to collaborate with colleagues and are you intrigued by key questions such as: 'How do we prepare our students today for tomorrow's world?' Do you want expert guidance, practical tools for curriculum design and the opportunity to learn with and from each other? And do you ultimately want to have a complete (re)designed curriculum for your programme in your hands? Then sign up for this inspiring and hands-on programme!

Curriculum design gives us the opportunity to think about the essential question of education: What are we doing it for? What do we want to achieve? What do we want to impart to our students? These 'big ideas' are essential issues that do not get the attention they deserve in the hustle and bustle of everyday teaching practice.

The programme 'Big ideas in Curriculum Design - Building a future-proof curriculum together' is for all colleagues at VU who are involved in (re)designing educational curricula. The programme offers a mix of inspiring input on relevant themes in educational design and practical working sessions with room for exchange. The aim is to have a future-proof curriculum for your programme in your hands at the end of the programme.

For whom?
This programme is offered to anyone involved in curriculum (re)design, such as education and programme directors and programme and subject coordinators.

Depending on the participants, the programme is offered in English or Dutch.

This course is open only to participants with employment at VU Amsterdam or UMC.
