Regulations for study delay due to pregnancy
If your pregnancy and the period after giving birth leads to a study delay, you may be eligible for financial support from VU Amsterdam (maximum of 4 months). Read more about this in the Student Support Regulation.
In some cases, you are eligible at DUO for single-parent allowance / childcare allowance, see Single parent - DUO. You can check on the DUO website what the conditions are for this allowance and whether you qualify for it. Avoid getting into trouble later if you receive this allowance: report all changes to DUO immediately.
